Christmas in the Caribbean?

Now how in the world am I suppose to get in the Christmas spirit if the temperature is in the 70's? And that was a rhetorical question. Lee was off yesterday and we put up our Christmas tree. Okay, I put it together. It's a new one and it's 9 feet tall. It looks so nice. I am very pleased. Now for putting the ornaments up. I have yet to do so. Mackenzie and I will put some up today. Lee put out our snow globes and santa and deer outside. They look so cute. I just love Christmas time. I love the music and feeling. I love shopping for others and seeing their faces when they open their gift up.

I love seeing Jackson for the first time really get the whole Christmas thing. He is so excited about Christmas trees and it's so cute to hear him say it. He did tell us he didn't like santa. That could be a problem. I'll have to work on that in the next few weeks. Mackenzie is alAtl excited about decorating too. Oh, she and my mom went to a website called northpole.com. She made a wishlist on there. It made me want to cry. She put clothes, underwear, and just small little things. She's such a great kid.

We're getting Jackson a ton of shark items for his birthday. I went to the Learning Express and they had some really cool items. For Christmas we're getting him a big Jeep Power Wheels toy car. At this point in time I can't thing of much else. We did get the mural painted in his room. That cost a pretty penny. Mackenzie is getting a little Vespa scooter. I'm also getting her one of those plasma cars that she's been wanting. I finally sat down and typed up a list and keeping adding to it.

You know the older they get the more expensive their toys are. Now when they only have 1 thing from Santa does that disappoint them? I know I'll go overboard as every year but it gets ridiculous. I think Lee and I gave each other our TV. Which essentially was for free since I've just about sold everything on ebay. It taint bad. The only thing I want for Christmas is to get pregnant. I doubt it'll happen that soon considering I'm still carrying our angel. But perhaps one day soon.

Lee is off for vacation starting on Tuesday. I'm really excited. I can't wait for him to be home. We can go Christmas shopping together for the kids. We can organize the house. And yes these are things that he has already said he'd do. I didn't drag him in to it, well perhaps I did but I already disclosed it to him.

I'm off to check on the kids. I can hear that Jackson just dumped out the box with his huge train track in it. Oh so much fun.
