I know you can't believe it. It's a new post. Wow! I've risen from the dead. Okay, so things have been a little crazy lately. Between work and work and home and the kids and well work.
I've been contemplating work changes lately and that has been very time consuming. Trying to analyze which move is the best and weighing all of my options against the risk associated with a change.
I think I finally worked things out. I cannot post all of the details just yet but come Monday I will. I don't think anyone reads my blogs online but I have to be careful.
So.... Mackenzie started school on Monday. I just adore her teacher. Her name is Mrs. Hightower. She taught 1st grade last year and all of the students in her class this year had her last year too. All of the parents requested her b/c she's so good. She has her old friend Kendal in her class. She's excited about that.
Guess what? Her teacher went to the University of Southwest GA or whatever it's called. It used to be called something that the acronym sounded out Sewage. I use to hear that from my dad. My uncle David went there. When I read where she went to college on her little info sheet I asked her where she is from. She said NW GA and I asked what part and then she said near Carrollton and Cedartown. She didn't think I'd heard of Cedartown but boy did I. I told her that I had family there and in Rockmart, Rome and Summerville. She graduated from Rockmart High School. I wonder if that's where Tara went. She said Tara's name sounded very familiar.
I told her I spent Thanksgivings at my great-aunts house by the Goodyear plant. Her father-in-law retired from there. It's such a small world.
Mackenzie is real sick now. She hadn't been feeling well all week but we went to the Dr. on Friday and she has an ear infection. She has the worst green snot and the runs. It's sad. Well... I gotta run now. I'm putting fake fingernails on her. She's been wanting to do that and since she is sick I'm treating her.
